The HTC Surround is a multimedia Windows Phone 7 device, coming to AT&T on November 8th, with a price tag of $199 with contract.
History
The HTC Surround/T8788 was first seen in DSLReports logs, as well as the LG C900. The device was then later shown in spyshots by Engadget. The design of the device is a sleek, metallic design (similar to that of the Schubert) and features a sliding-out speaker. The device has been confirmed to be heading for AT&T, and will be launching November 8th for $199.
Several press members have handled the HTC Surround before it's release, giving fairly positive feedback. The device has been described as unique, fast, and boasts impressive audio quality.However, the device has received criticism for under utilized hardware, and poor battery life.
