Formerly the Asus Mystery device, the Asus E600 is a developer prototype for Windows Phone 7.
History
The Asus E600 was first seen as a prototype by Shaistajafri on Twitter in early September, 2010. The prototype device (see below) featured a unfinished metal design, and is in the slate form factor.
The prototype device was also seen in a demonstration video, with no regard to the device itself:
Finally, on December 6th, the device passed through the FCC with AT&T bands, revealing itself to be the Asus E600.
